To download any document (either PDF, Word or PPT) from scribd you have to just change your browser user agent.
You can use any browser like chrome, firefox, opera, Internet explorer, safari etc. You have to change user agent to mobile browser user agent.
In custom user agent field and enter mobile browser user agent string for e.g. operamini
You can find many user agent strings from www.useragentstring.com
Or you may use operamini 6 user agent string "Opera/9.80 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/6.24288/25.729; U; en) Presto/2.5.25 Version/10.54" It is tested by me. 100% working.
After changing user agent just open scribd link and click on download button. Your download will start within a moment.
